"My husband and I have been attending First Presbyterian Church, McKinney since 1992. It has truly been a blessing in our lives. And I'm very thankful for all those who played a part in my spiritual journey past and present. We are a small congregation and we welcome all who are searching for a church home."
"I love this church! A smallish band of believers is what you will find at First Presbyterian Church, McKinney! If you are looking for a church where you feel like a member and not a number, then this is the place for you. With two worship styles- 8:45 am Salt & Light Experience offers a great contemporary style of praising God. Feel free to raise your hands in the air and sing along with the Praise Team! Or if your cup of tea is a more traditional setting, then the 10:45 Sunday service is for you. If you are new to the Presbyterian church, we invite you to come as you are! When you join us for worship, you will encounter an exuberant worship, warm and loving fellowship, and a message that is compelling, Biblical, and applicable to your life. We are a church focused on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others, and in completing the Great Commission issued by Jesus in Matthew 28. Our passion and goal is to equip believers for the work of the ministry in the fullness of Christ!
And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in [a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
- Matthew 28:18-20

"But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
